Your starting point is at Venet Alm, which you can easily reach by car. From here, the hike begins at a leisurely pace – a short section along a farm track is perfect for warming up. Before long, you enter a magical Swiss stone pine forest, where the fresh scent of the trees and pleasant shade welcome you.

But don’t worry – the forest is only a short part of the route. Soon, the landscape opens up and you find yourself on a beautiful panoramic trail. Now it gets a little picturesque – but in the best possible way! During the blooming season, the trail is lined with countless alpine roses, creating a stunning sea of colour. Every photo stop is worthwhile, especially with the spectacular views down into the valley.

The trail gently descends until you eventually reach the Larcher Alm. Here, you’ll find a traditional alpine hut offering genuine Tyrolean hospitality – the perfect place to enjoy a well-deserved break.

After your rest, you continue along a short section of forest road. For the return journey, you then take a shady hiking trail that gently climbs through the forest. Especially on hot days, this section provides a pleasant contrast to the open mountain terrain.

Soon, you reach the alpine meadows surrounding Venet Alm once again – bringing you back to the starting point of your beautiful circular hike.
