Declaration on accessibility
Imst Tourismus endeavours to make its websites accessible in accordance with Section 14b of the Tyrolean Anti-Discrimination Act 2005 implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (OJ L 327, 2.12.2016, p. 1).
This accessibility statement applies to the website www.imst.at
Status of compliance with the requirements
The website www.imst.at is partially compliant with conformance level AA of the "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Web - WCAG 2.1" according to the applicable harmonised European standard "European Standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08)" due to the following incompatibilities or exceptions.
Content that is not accessible
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons
a) Incompatibility with the Web Accessibility Act (WZG) for the implementation of Directive (EU) 2016/2102
The presentation of text and images does not fulfil the specified contrast ratio due to CD specifications. The WCAG success criterion (success criteria SC) 1.4.3 Contrast (minimum) is therefore only fulfilled with restrictions.
With a zoom of 200 per cent on the desktop, there are wrap problems with the help texts in pop-up windows; this affects criterion 1.4.4 (Change text size).
At a zoom of 400 per cent on the desktop, the two-line fixed header is too high, scrollable content becomes very narrow in height on screens in landscape format. Success criterion 1.4.10 Reflow is only fulfilled with restrictions.
The alternative text is missing for some images in the teaser, meaning that this information is not accessible for screen reader users. This means that the WCAG success criterion "Non-text content" is not fulfilled. We endeavour to add correct alternative texts to all non-decorative images.
The minimum contrast requirements of 4.5:1 are not met for various elements, which makes it difficult for people with visual impairments to recognise and read content.
b) Disproportionate load
Our videos are hosted and published on the video platform YouTube. It is not possible to provide the required audio descriptions for these videos. Success criterion 1.2 time-based media is therefore only fulfilled with restrictions.
It is not possible to check, correct and confirm user information entered in the booking process before submitting the form. Success criterion 3.3.4 Error prevention is therefore only fulfilled to a limited extent.
Work is underway to rectify the shortcomings
