It starts right in the village center! From the Postplatz square in Nassereith, you'll enjoy a relaxed hike – and after just a few minutes, the first highlight awaits you: you'll reach Lake Nassereith, a small natural gem right on the edge of the village. A short walk around the lake is worthwhile here. The trail then leads you a short distance through residential areas. Don't be fooled – nature awaits you again. As soon as you leave the last house, a beautiful cultivated landscape opens up. You'll hike through fields – and here's a little tip: keep your eyes open! Especially in the early morning hours or in the evening, chamois are often seen roaming the hillsides. The trail now leads through a variety of open meadows and shady forests – a wonderful mix that guarantees you won't get bored. After a gentle climb, you'll immerse yourself in the enchanting world of Lake Fernstein. Emerald green, crystal-clear, and surrounded by wooded slopes, it lies there – perfect for a short rest. You follow the shore path and enjoy the tranquility. After just a few minutes' walk through the forest, you reach Samerangersee, small but mighty! It lies almost mystical in the forest, with its intense color and incredible depth of view. Peace and quiet are the order of the day here – simply look, marvel, and breathe deeply. From here, you continue – past a few small, charming pools – back to Fernsteinsee, which you now circle completely. Now it's time to head home again. You hike through the idyllic Tegestal valley. Shortly before your destination, you reach the small village of St. Wendelin. Now it's not far – you return to Nassereith and can look back on a varied, tranquil, and impressive circular hike.
