From Piller Moor to Venet

The hike starts at Piller Moor and initially follows a short section of the idyllic nature trail through the moorland. Even here, you can discover the unique natural beauty of this special landscape. The trail then enters the forest and follows a steadily ascending path towards Gogles Alm.

As you gain altitude, the forest gradually becomes more open, revealing beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Eventually, you reach the open alpine meadows, where the cows of Gogles Alm graze during the summer months. After the climb, you arrive at Gogles Alm, where an impressive panorama opens up before you.

The trail continues uphill, gaining altitude step by step while rewarding you with magnificent views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. Across varied alpine and mountain terrain, you continue towards Glanderspitze.

From Glanderspitze, the trail descends towards Venet. The mountain railway can already be seen from a distance, guiding you towards the next section of the tour. Once you reach Venet, the scenic high-altitude trail begins, leading you back towards Gogles Alm.

The panoramic trail offers more stunning views and provides a relaxing finish to the hike. From Gogles Alm, you then follow the familiar trail back to Piller Moor.
