Your hike begins at the Muttekopfhütte, a popular starting point for adventures in the Tyrolean mountains. The ascent begins directly behind the hut and presents you with a small challenge right at the start: You cross a picturesque stream that lets the clear mountain water ripple. The path leads you gently into the valley, surrounded by imposing mountain peaks and lush green meadows. It is a time of relaxation and enjoyment as you slowly hike higher and higher. Finally, you reach the last section of the hike, where the path leads over somewhat steeper serpentines to the Scharnitzsattel. These last few meters require a little more strength and stamina, but the reward is great: once you reach the top, a breathtaking view opens up over the surrounding peaks and valleys.
