The oldest wax and honey processing company in Tyrol offers many other high-quality bee products in addition to honey: Candles and accessories made from beeswax, cosmetics and care products, food and supplements, alcoholic beverages and much more. The Tyrolean Beekeepers' Co-operative has been in existence since 1942 and is now a successful business with sales outlets in Imst, Innsbruck and Kundl.

Weberei Schatz

Old craft traditions can be experienced in Karrösten at the Schatz weaving mill. The abundance of flax in Ötztal and Pitztal provided farmers with an additional source of income. Flax was a labour-intensive crop for farmers, which was cultivated for their own consumption. In the first half of the 19th century, the sale of flax and linen as well as their products was one of the main sources of income in the region. In the Schatz weaving mill, this cultural heritage has been upheld for generations and demonstrated to interested visitors.
