At the Holzknecht farm, only products that they grow themselves are processed – primarily garlic, onions, shallots, zucchini, pumpkin, soup vegetables, and white cabbage for sauerkraut. Their vegetables are available fresh, pickled, dried, or processed.
In addition to the vegetables, they run a mother cow herd with 26 Charolais cattle, a French meat breed, as well as a flock of about 200 chickens – for fresh eggs daily and their popular egg liqueur "Kuhkikeriki".
In the farm shop, they offer not only their own products but also high-quality food from other farmers in the region – depending on the season, such as yogurt, cheese, butter, sausages, potatoes, or asparagus. The self-service store is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Since 2015, Susanne Holzknecht has been running the small family business with her daughters and parents with great passion. Anyone who values honest, regional products is in the right place here.
