farm stroe / market
In the farm shop of the LLA Imst educational center you can expect a fine selection of high-quality, regionally produced foods, which are directly made by the students in class. Fresh eggs and potatoes from the estate, fine honey, propolis, beeswax and candles from the beekeeping school, as well as crunchy fruits, apple juice, vinegar, syrup, apple must, distillates and liqueurs from the in-house fruit processing – all of this can be found here. Particularly popular are the specialties made in class such as homemade sausages, bacon, yogurt, cheese, cottage cheese, butter, fresh bread and pastries, fruit spreads, muesli, liqueurs, pickled items, and many seasonal delicacies.
Additionally, regional agricultural businesses complement the offerings with dairy and meat products, pasta, herbal salts, and other specialties.
Behind all these products lies not only a lot of craftsmanship but also an important learning process. The students take on the production themselves, pay attention to hygiene, recipes, and labeling regulations, and learn a lot about quality and the value of food. In the higher classes, they even deal with business topics such as pricing calculation and marketing. Twice a week, selected students take on the role of salespersons and gain valuable experience in direct customer contact.
The farm shop uniquely combines education, quality, and regionality – and with your purchase, you have the opportunity to support young people on their educational path while taking home truly good, honest products.
