Maldonalm

The Maldonalm is located at an altitude of 1,714 meters in the Lechtal Alps and is accessible via the Hahntennjoch road from Imst. Following extensive modernization work in 2023, the hut now shines in new splendor and offers hikers and travelers a healthy snack with homemade specialties. Guests can enjoy views of the wild romantic rock formations of the Lechtal Alps and the approximately 50 cows that keep the herders and cheese makers busy on the Alm.

Approximately 1,200 liters of alpine milk are produced daily and processed on-site into cheese and butter. Some of these fresh products can also be purchased directly at the Alm – a true delight for lovers of regional products.
