The Hanauer Hütte at an elevation of 1,922 meters in the Lechtal Alps is a popular base for hikers, climbers, and families. Surrounded by the impressive mountain backdrop of the Dremelspitze (2,733 m) and flower-filled Parzinn-Hochkar, it offers a stunning setting for alpine experiences. The easiest access is from the hamlet of Boden in the Angerletal valley. From the parking lot in Boden, you can reach the hut in about 2 hours of hiking. The trail is well-marked and leads through a diverse landscape. The hut accommodates up to 135 people in dormitories and has 32 beds. The Hanauer Hütte is known for its excellent hospitality and warmly welcomes families as well as children and youth groups. For younger guests, a children's play area and a playground have been established.
Accommodation
The hut offers sufficient sleeping space, which is divided into double rooms, multi-bed rooms (4, 6, 8, and 9 beds), as well as spacious and bright dormitories for 12 and 23 people. Reservations for sleeping places can be made online and are requested. Room assignments are made on-site.
Starting Point
In Boden, there is a generous paid parking option.
From here, you march along the forest road into the valley until you reach the material cable car. At this point, one initially walks easily along the marked trail before it becomes somewhat steeper after crossing the stream.
