Every day on the Via Ferrata
Via ferratas
Via ferrata fans can expect an impressive selection of routes for every level in the Outdoorregion Imst. The challenging Imst via ferrata leads from the Muttekopfhütte to the 2,623 metre-high Maldonkopf and impresses with a spectacular 20 metre-long rope bridge and a sensational panorama. The Leite via ferrata in Nassereith offers a sporting challenge with difficulty level C/D. The waterfall via ferrata near the Muttekopfhütte is one of the most popular in Tyrol and is a must-do when visiting Hoch-Imst. The Hanau via ferrata, below the hut of the same name, offers different levels of difficulty from A/B to C/D and is therefore suitable for both beginners and experienced via ferrata fans. Full via ferrata equipment is required and can be hired on site.
Via ferrata sets can also be hired from the climbing centre in Imst and from High Mountainworks. We recommend that you make your first attempts under the expert supervision of a guide.
