The home of mountain bike world champion Daniel Federspiel presents in the most impressive way what so inspires fans of the cult sport: the trails, the landscapes and the beauty of an region that doesn't just start in remote places and mountain pastures. We encounter it when we get into the saddle, ride on casual trails, downhill or over centuries-old cobbled footbridges, pass through narrow alleyways and the whole range of tours unfolds in front of our bike.
A whopping 285 kilometres of mountain bike routes are hidden in the mountains around Imst - some obvious, some not quite obvious at first glance.
Not quite as secret, but an even hotter tip, is the indoor bike park at AREA 47! There you can improve your biking skills regardless of the weather and season and get to know the outdoor region from its ultimate casual side.
