Speichersee Hoch-Imst

The storage pond in Hoch-Imst primarily serves as a water supply for snow production in winter. However, during the summer months, it transforms into an idyllic place of tranquility and relaxation. Located between the valley and the middle station of the Imster mountain railways, this spot invites visitors to linger. Particularly cozy are the special Alpine baskets – an alpine version of the well-known beach baskets – which invite relaxation and enjoyment of the surrounding mountain landscape.
