The Alpine Coaster in Hoch-Imst is the perfect outing for families and guarantees fun for young and old alike. With a track length of 3535 meters, it is the longest alpine roller coaster in the world. The ride starts at 1500 meters below the Imster cable car, right at the Untermarkter Alm. Along the way, the track impresses with steep curves, a 450-degree spiral, and spectacular jumps with a drop of up to six meters. The ride takes about 9 minutes, during which you overcome 500 vertical meters and reach top speeds of up to 40 km/h.
Children from 3 years old are allowed to ride accompanied by an adult. From 8 years old and with a minimum height of 1.25 meters, independent riding is permitted. From age 14, teenagers can take a passenger with them.
What to do in bad weather? Not a problem at all, as the Alpine Coaster is also in operation during rain. In this case, your luggage will be sent down to the valley by gondola and you are only allowed to ride alone. Whether it's sunshine or rain - you will definitely call out "One more time!" in the valley.
