Relaxed ascent every day

Imster Bergbahnen

Whether for a leisurely family excursion, a sporty Alpine adventure or as a taxi to a mountain hut: the Imst mountain lifts take you up to over 2000 metres above sea level in just a few minutes. Pushchairs? No problem for the modern 10-seater gondolas with barrier-free access. Spectacular viewpoints, restaurants and hiking trails await you at the top. Unique: real cable car fans can even have breakfast in the gondola. There is a free car park at the valley station in Hoch-Imst, as well as a bus stop on line 4 (Imst - Hoch-Imst - Imst). By the way, with the Imst Card, the bus journey is free for you! Several hiking trails also lead to the valley, middle and mountain stations. We particularly recommend the ascent from the centre of Imst through the Rosengarten gorge up to the Imster Bergbahnen valley station.

Tip

Do you only want to take the gondola lift up or down? No problem, both lifts can be used and combined as you wish, there are single tickets and multi-day tickets, online booking possible. From the middle station, you can also whizz down into thevalley on the Alpine Coaster. By the way, with the Imst Card you can use the Imst mountain lifts free of charge in summer for stays of three nights or more.

Tip

"Genussgondel" - it doesn't always have to be Venice... A very special gondola breakfast is available here in the Tyrolean mountains: treat yourself to the special gondola experience and enjoy an exclusive breakfast (with delicacies from the U-Alm) high above the ground - spectacular views included. Bookings are possible for two to six people per gondola, the alpine breakfast excursion starts at 8.45 am. If you are looking for a gift for your family or friends, the "Genussgondel" ist a great tip!
