Rollercoaster every day
Alpine Coaster Hoch-Imst
What happens when winter fun and summer love share a toboggan? You can see, or rather experience it on the longest Alpine rollercoaster in the world, the Alpine Coaster! Its silhouette can be seen from afar and promises fun and thrills: 500 metres in altitude, three and a half kilometres long, up to 40 km/h, an average gradient of 13 percent and Alpine rose fields to go! And the best thing about it? A gondola will take you to the start in a relaxed manner and your riding skills will take you to the valley station in around 7 minutes.
Whether as a Lonely Rider or a team of two, a one-off highlight or for continuous highlights - order your ticket conveniently online in advance or pick it up directly at the valley station. Available as a single ticket, multi-ride ticket or mountain railway combination. For children from 8 years and 1.25 metres tall and kids from 3 years accompanied by an adult. The Alpine Coaster takes you daily from 09:30 to 17:00 from the mountain to the valley station in no time at all. In wind and weather, rain and shine.
Alpine Coaster - the Alpine rollercoaster in Hoch-Imst

Your wild ride of superlatives starts at the middle station of the Imster Bergbahnen. Over 3,535 metres of track, you will experience a varied programme of acceleration, brief moments of weightlessness and an interplay of emotions. The cable car utilises the natural topography of the terrain and whizzes through nature like a swift weasel. Past grazing cows, beach chairs and reservoirs, through the middle of the forest and this idyllic fairytale landscape, which you can see today from a time-lapse perspective.

No time to linger, the next bend is already waiting for your scream of joy. The yellow plastic sled glides through the mountain scenery, rolling over waves and jumps, not letting go for a second - thanks to the rails and the adrenaline level, which flies to new heights shortly after the halfway point. Was it the 450-degree spinning top? The particularly steep section after turn 10? Or the anticipation of the next rollercoaster game? Because: We're still a long way from the finish line!

On you go: under the gondola, at full speed alongside the piste towards the valley station. The record is within your grasp and the finish line is in your hands. Or rather: the brake lever. You can use it to vary your own speed at any time and turn the Rallye Hoch-Imst into a fun rollercoaster ride. This means that even smaller drivers and passengers with a slight case of nerves can enjoy the uphill and downhill ride and reach the finish line with a feeling of happiness and a few extra seconds. Fa(hr)zit: This exhilaration is moving!
Do you think toboggan runs are as much a part of winter as snow flurries in the Alps? No problem, because the Alpine Coaster in Hoch-Imst doesn't hibernate and you can let the cold wind whizz around your ears even in sub-zero temperatures. A little tip: don't forget your hat and gloves.
