UAlm

The Untermarkter Alm, better known as UALM, is located at an altitude of 1,500 meters directly at the middle station of the Imst cable cars and at the start of the Alpine Coaster, the longest alpine roller coaster in the world. After extensive renovations in 2013, the hut combines modern architecture with alpine coziness. On the spacious sun terrace, you can have breakfast while enjoying the mountain panorama or try regional specialties in the restaurant. The menu offers a varied selection of Tyrolean classics and seasonal dishes. Comfortable shared rooms are available for overnight guests, accommodating up to 30 people. In the morning, a hearty mountain breakfast awaits you before you embark on an adventure in the surrounding mountains. The UALM is an ideal starting point for activities such as hiking, climbing, skiing, and tobogganing in both summer and winter. Please check the current opening hours and reserve for breakfast in advance.

Overnight Stay
The U-Alm has a total of 30 sleeping places. Cozy shared rooms with balconies and 2 comfortable alpine suites including shower/WC, TV, and balcony, as well as spacious washing or shower/WC areas are available.

Starting Point
Via the forest path to the U-Alm: The starting point is the parking lot in Hoch-Imst (at the Imst cable cars). From there, walk via the forest path (toboggan run) to the U-Alm.

Via the Ursprungweg to the U-Alm: The route starts at the parking lot in Hoch-Imst and winds its way through the forest for 2.8 kilometers up to the Untermarkter Alm. Nature enthusiasts particularly enjoy this route, as there are information stops about mushrooms along the way.
