for families
In the heart of Tarrenz, the so-called "Witch Village," you will find the Hexengartle – a creatively designed playground that brings sparkle to children's eyes. Inspired by the local carnival tradition, where witches drive away winter on brooms, this place was built with great attention to detail.
Here, children can play in a crooked little witch's house with a bright red roof, balance over wobbly walkways, climb rope nets, and plunge into an adventure on a tube slide. A special highlight is the broom fountain, from which water flows through stone and pebble arches – perfect for hot summer days.
The playground is idyllically located by the Brenjursee and is surrounded by meadows, making it an ideal spot for family outings. Thanks to its barrier-free design with wheelchair-accessible entrance and parking, the Hexengartle is accessible to all children.
A visit to the Hexengartle can be wonderfully combined with a light hike, for example on the nearby witch's trail, which offers exciting insights into the local world of legends.
