Gurgltal - Schloss Fernsteinsee

Imst centre, along the Via Claudia Augusta cycle path to the Gurgltal valley, Tarrenz, Strad, continue in the shady forest to Nassereith. The valley now becomes narrower and somewhat steeper. Through the castle arch of the Hotel Schloss Fernsteinsee , viewing point with a view of the emerald-green Lake Fernsteinsee.

Return at the campsite through the forest in the direction of Rastland - St. Wendelin - Brunnwald - Nassereith - Gurgltal Cycle Path - Imst.

Alternative: Nassereither Alm (Muthenau Alm 1,739m) from Lake Fernsteinsee via the Via Claudia Augusta to the Fernpasshöhe and on to the Nassereither Alm (Muthenau Alm).
