Thanks to the altitude of 1,377 to 2,872 metres, snow is guaranteed from the end of November until May - perfect for a long, sporty winter.

In the Silvapark ski area in the mountain village of Galtür, around 59 kilometres from the Imst outdoor region, skiers, snowboarders, freeriders, families and skiers of all abilities will find 43 kilometres of perfectly groomed pistes. The snow-covered three-thousand metre peaks of the Silvretta are always in view. The unique snow park concept for freestyle snowboarders and freeskiers, night skiing, ski safaris and a separate practice area for young skiers ensure an ultimate winter sports experience at up to 2,295 metres.
