The Tiroler Zugspitz Arena in Ehrwald is just 28 kilometres from Imst. At the foot of the Zugspitze, skiing is right at the top of your winter holiday to-do list. Seven small but beautiful ski areas with 143 kilometres of pistes and 57 mountain lifts are waiting to be experienced by winter sports enthusiasts. Winter could hardly be more varied, from the family pistes of the Ehrwalder Alm, the Wetterstein area or Biberwier, to runs with views of the Zugspitze or the ski swings between Berwang and Bichlbach - skiers of all levels will find the best conditions here.

The versatile ski area delights with perfectly groomed pistes in all levels of difficulty, an impressive mountain panorama and cosy refreshment stops in rustic huts. Beginners and families in particular will quickly find their way around the wide, flat slopes and easy runs, and there are courses and a kids' area for children.
