Imst via ferrata / Maldonkopf

Magnificent alpine via ferrata in the Lechtal Alps. Fantastic, gripping limestone that invites you to climb on the rock. Well secured fantastic route, but sparse footholds. The route is unique and designed so that you can mainly climb right on the rock. Apart from the sky ladder, there are no footholds on the via ferrata, whereas modern footholds are a welcome support on the descent of the via ferrata. Nevertheless, the descent should not be underestimated. The descent requires alpine experience and surefootedness in rugged terrain. It leads through the Engelkar, where you can partly slide down on debris.
