When team spirit meets white water, it’s time for Raft Battle: in the Imst Gorge, teams compete against one another alongside professional guides, taking on thrilling challenges both on the water and on land. It’s not just about strength and skill, but above all about teamwork, courage and plenty of fun. Whether you’re a rafting novice or a paddling pro – Raft Battle kicks off the outdoor season with adrenaline, a taste of nature and a real competitive spirit.
The Raft Battle 2026
It’s no surprise that the Imst Gorge is a hotspot for rafting in Europe: the route runs for around 14 kilometres along the River Inn from Imst towards Haiming – offering an exciting mix of powerful white water, high waves and calmer stretches where you can catch your breath. An interesting fact: about halfway along the route, the Ötztaler Ache flows into the Inn, causing the water level to rise further – and that’s exactly what adds to the excitement!
Procedure
- Transfer to the starting point in Imst
- Safety briefing and practice run
- Briefing on the race schedule at AREA 47 Beach
- Raft Battle with exciting challenges
- Awards ceremony, chill-out area, music, drinks and food
- Duration: approx. 2 pm to 8 pm
