Gliding along every day
Cross Country Skiing
In the Outdoorregion Imst, you will find your personal cross-country skiing happiness on over 40 km of groomed trails - regardless of whether you prefer the classic style or skating. The trails lead you through snow-covered winter landscapes, past trees whose branches are covered in white snow caps. Here you can enjoy the tranquillity of nature, listen to your breathing and feel the clear winter air on your cheeks. The perfectly groomed trails invite you to experience the magic of winter in a very special way. Cross-country skiing in Tyrol - pure relaxation in the midst of dreamlike nature!
In the Outdoorregion Imst, you can also learn cross-country skiing in a cross-country skiing course! This will get you off to the best possible start and allow you to enjoy the snow-covered trails to the full. The Snowschool Imst offers courses and high-quality equipment hire.
A little cross-country skiing etiquette: To avoid misunderstandings or accidents, you will find signs with arrows at the start of the trail. These indicate the direction to follow on the trail. Sometimes there are several ways to enter the trail, so it can happen that the right direction is overlooked. You will also find the respective cross-country skiing style on the signs, so you can immediately recognise whether the trail is open for classic style or skating.

Please do not use cross-country ski trails as hiking trails! If the winter hiking trail runs along sections of the cross-country ski trail, mutual consideration is important to avoid accidents. In addition, the cross-country ski trails are groomed and the skiing fun is better preserved without footprints.
