Climbing in the Muttekopf rest area

The Muttekopf area impresses with its challenging climbing routes, which lead over slabs, cracks and overhangs, sometimes up to over 2,700 metres above sea level to the mountain summit. As the distances between bolts are somewhat wider and the conditions are sometimes rough, the area is only suitable for pure sport climbers to a limited extent. For alpinists, however, the area is a fantastic playground with many challenging and varied routes.
