„WEITKLANG“ – small musical hike around the UALM

On July 19, 2025, the idyllic mountain landscape of Hoch-Imst will transform into a unique open-air stage: The musical project WEITKLANG invites you to a small musical hike around the UALM. From 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM, visitors can expect an atmospheric hiking concert featuring alphorn and trombone ensembles, combining the enjoyment of nature with deep auditory experiences.
The organizer of this special event is committed to the idea of making music not only audible but also tangible – precisely where it can resonate the most: in nature. At several stations around the UALM, the powerful sounds of brass players will unfold their impact – carried by the wind, embedded in the panorama of the Tyrolean Alps.
Imst Tourism supports the project as a cooperation partner, emphasizing the importance of cultural nature formats for summer tourism in the region. The concert invites you to experience the connection between culture, landscape, and movement in a completely new way – on quiet soles and with open ears.
The musical hike is freely accessible and suitable for all age groups. The path is easy to walk and can be used without any issues by hikers as well as families with children. However, it is advisable to wear sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing.
The ascents with the gondola of the Imster Bergbahnen make it easier to access the event in Hoch-Imst. Those arriving early have the opportunity to relax in the UALM before the concert begins.
