Transitions
Leonhard Knabl explores various types of transitions in the exhibition and his works; geographical transitions, such as mountain passes and their significance, transitions between light and dark, light and shadow, color gradients, and also technological transitions that arise through the use of new artistic media. His sources of inspiration are abstract forms in nature, as well as themes from history, literature, film, and everyday media. Featured are primarily ink drawings, but also etchings and works created using digital techniques.
