Short facts

SONGWRITING CAMP with Vinnie Stergin A creative music experiment as part of Kimscht – Culture in Imst From July 17 to 20, 2025, Vinnie Stergin, in cooperation with the cultural department of the city of Imst, will launch a unique musical experiment. The Songwriting Camp Imst 2025 offers seven Tyrolean musicians from various genres the opportunity to create new music for free in three days. At the end of the camp, the freshly composed works will be presented to the public in a concert. From idea to concert in 72 hours! Free creation, cross-genre creativity, and new connections Under the guidance of the internationally experienced, award-winning musician and producer Vinnie Stergin, the camp focuses on an open, experimental approach. Without rigid structures, the musicians are encouraged to work freely, make quick decisions, and create in the moment – a creative adventure without a guaranteed success, but with the aim of forging new connections and enabling cross-genre music to emerge. Musicians wanted! Interested musicians can apply for participation starting now. Emerging as well as established artists (aged 18 and over) who are willing to engage in a unique musical experiment are sought.
