Your ideas. Your role. Your summer on the city stage. Fancy some theater? Then sign up for our summer course.
Whether you're a curious aspiring actor or a creative mind with a passion for the stage – the Imst City Stage's summer workshop, from Monday, July 14th to Friday, July 18th, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., offers space for imagination, playfulness, and team spirit. In an intensive yet playful week, children and young people between the ages of 9 and 14 will develop their own short plays – from the initial idea through characters, plot, and dialogue to costumes, stage, and performance.
The workshop begins with a playful introduction to theater, featuring numerous exercises in body language, improvisation, and expression. Afterward, it's time to brainstorm ideas, develop roles, rehearse scenes, and design stage sets – always together, with joy and respect for the ideas and visions of others. At the end of the week, the resulting ideas are performed in front of family and friends – a highlight that rewards courage, commitment, and creativity with applause.
For whom? Children and young people ages 9-14 – no previous experience necessary! Cost: €190 (€160 per child for siblings)
