Saxofour: Between world music and Christmas miracles

One evening, two programs, four saxophone pieces: first global rhythms, then Advent sound poetry. Saxofour combine musical wanderlust with Christmas contemplation – virtuosic, humorous, and distinctive.

The concert evening at the Stadtbühne showcases two sides of their talent: In the first half, "Rhythm of the World" takes the audience through musical landscapes around the globe – groovy, playful, and with world music spirit. After the interval, things get festive: "Es lebt einöstlich Ton in meinen Saxophon" (A peaceful sound lives in my saxophone) brings together highlights from their four Christmas albums – traditional songs in a new sonic guise, with plenty of charm and Advent spirit.
