Imst/Tyrol, July 2025. On August 23, 2025, the Imst outdoor region will become the venue for a true "dream game": Selected players from the "Red Eagles Austria" fan club will compete against the stars of FC Bayern Munich. The region, which boasts sporting activities, a diverse offering for all ages, and untouched nature as far as the eye can see, will be all about football on this day. The "dream game" will be played in the Gurgltal Stadium – the Velly Arena Tirol. For this purpose, the capacity will be expanded from just under 1,500 spectators to 5,000 visitors. A varied program surrounding the game, including an amusement park, halftime show, and DJ, will make the day a special highlight.
"Red Eagles Austria" bring the "Dream Game" to Imst
for the anniversary Official FC Bayern Munich fan clubs can submit an application under the title "Dream Game" and vie for the opportunity to play against "their" football stars. This year, the "Red Eagles Austria," the Imst-based fan club with over 1,600 members, won the bid. The result: The 13th "Dream Game" will take place in Imst, in the year of FC Bayern Munich's 125th anniversary.
The event day: Excitement on the pitch and fun in the stands
The eventful day, which will envelop the Imst outdoor region in the club's and fan's color red, begins at 10 a.m. when the event grounds open. Numerous attractions await visitors on the club grounds. Starting at around 10:30 a.m., the ceremonial fan march from Imst's town square to the event location will take place, before kickoff at 3 p.m., and the excitement builds. Will the members of "Red Eagles Austria" prevail against the football giants? The halftime show with "POWERband Tirol – the Inclusion Band" promises entertainment for the spectators while the players recover. Musical entertainment will also be provided after the game with a set by Ö3 DJ "DJ F.A.B.M.". The exciting day will conclude with a fitting after-show party for a smaller audience.
