Rebekka Bakken interprets the songs of her life – atmospheric, powerful, and with a subtle band setup. Classics by Lennon/McCartney, Peter Gabriel, and Annie Lennox are presented in a new light, ranging from atmospheric pop to jazz.

With her current album, Always On My Mind, Norwegian singer and songwriter Rebekka Bakken embarks on a musical journey through her personal cosmos of memories. With an intimate ensemble, she presents songs that have accompanied her since childhood, which she now translates into her very own sound – touching, full of depth, and with the intensity for which her voice is celebrated.

Alongside some of Norway's best session musicians, including guitarist Eivind Aarset and keyboardist Jørn Øien, Bakken creates multi-layered, floating arrangements that reveal familiar songs in a new light. A concert experience like a collection of musical memories – melancholic, courageous, magical. In cooperation with the Art Club Imst.
