Chamber music for those plagued by wanderlust and people with open hearts. Grandmaster Pippo Pollina and his quartet celebrate the beauty of life. An event in cooperation with the Art Club Imst.
For more than three decades, Pippo Pollina has been one of the most important voices in the European singer-songwriter scene. The Sicilian moves with impressive naturalness between poetry, music, and social stance. His songs tell stories of departure and homeland, of loss and hope, of the small and large stories of life. With countless albums, international tours, and artistic encounters, he has created a space that extends far beyond the borders of his home Italy.
With La vita è bella così com'è, Pollina now presents a new project of special intimacy and elegance. Together with cellist Cécile Grüebler, pianist Elisa Sandrini, clarinetist Roberto Petroli, and percussionist Gionata Colaprisca, finely woven soundscapes emerge between Italian Cantautore, chamber music, and Mediterranean songwriting. Sometimes delicate and contemplative, sometimes full of lightness and zest for life.
