Paula Bilá is one of Spain's most impressive voices. With an excellent jazz band, she presents boleros and Latin American classics in unusual yet fascinating arrangements.

Deeply rooted in Andalusian flamenco, Paula Bilá moves effortlessly between musical worlds. Since moving to Amsterdam in 2021, she has increasingly devoted herself to traditional Latin American music – powerful, poetic, and personal. Her extraordinary voice meets The LEANING IN Underground: a quartet of jazz cosmopolitans that once formed as a touring emergency solution and today stands for a fresh, bold sound.

Together, they interpret boleros with a keen sense of atmosphere and free from stylistic bias.

Inspired by the Latin jazz spirit of the Jazz Messengers, Paula Bilá & The LEANING IN Underground lend classics their own, modern sound on their joint album "En Español."
