Jubiläumsausstellung „TRUG % BILDER“

On the occasion of his 75th birthday, the Tyrolean artist and idea smith Gebhard Schatz invites you to the anniversary exhibition “TRUG % BILDER” at Johannesplatz in Imst. The exhibition provides insight into more than 44 years of artistic creation and connects images, sounds, and words on three levels.

Under the guiding motto “APPLY THE ARTS – Apply the Art!”, Gebhard Schatz understands art not merely as something to view, but also as an invitation to think along and participate in shaping. His works deal with topics such as nature and human rights.

At the opening, Eva-Maria Schatz will provide the musical accompaniment, Vice Mayor Thomas Schatz will deliver the welcoming words, and Saba-Maria Schatz will contribute personally with “My Papa”. Gebhard Schatz himself will speak about the content and value of art.

Afterwards, visitors are invited to engage in conversation with each other and with the artist about current art topics, to discuss, and to contribute actively.
