How much needs to happen for the world to truly change? In All the Beautiful by Duncan Macmillan, Hartwig Ladner follows a person on their journey through the everyday life of the present – attentive, immediate, and very close to the audience. Using only language and presence, a theatrical evening is created that explores the quiet moments in which hope emerges, doubt grows, and the question remains of how one can move forward in an imperfect world.

The current play from Theaterforum HUMISTE tells of change, resistance, and the ability to discover beauty where it may no longer be expected. Reduced in form but large in its effect, All the Beautiful opens a space for reflection, empathy, and quiet wonder.
