If the father forgets everything – even the play itself soon. HUMISTE brings a family story about Alzheimer’s, absurdity, and remembering to the city stage.

The Theaterforum HUMISTE addresses a serious topic with comical exaggeration: Alzheimer’s. In Jan Neumann's "Forgetting that" daughter Lisa calls for a family council, but everyone deals with the father's illness differently – withdrawal, money, or escapism. Even the narrative and the attempt to play it are not spared by forgetting: one of the actors suddenly can’t remember an important scene. Just gone. Theater and reality blur into a tragically touching and surprisingly comedic experience.
