How much has to happen before the world really changes? In All the Beautiful Things by Duncan Macmillan, Hartwig Ladner follows a person on their journey through the everyday life of the present – attentive, immediate, and very close to the audience. Only with language and presence does a theater evening emerge that explores the quiet moments in which hope shines through, doubts grow, and the question remains how to move forward in an imperfect world.

The current play of the Theaterforum HUIMSTE tells of change, resistance, and the ability to discover beauty where it may not be expected anymore. Reduced in form, but great in its impact, All the Beautiful Things opens a space for reflection, empathy, and quiet wonder.
