On Sunday, June 20, 2027, the Mountain Food Festival "Genuss Hoch 3" invites you to a special gourmet hike in Hoch-Imst. At altitudes between 1,500 and 1,934 meters, regional cuisine, nature experiences, and hiking come together for a diverse day in the mountains.
Along the route, local producers will present a variety of food and drinks at around 30 stations – from hot dishes and desserts to coffee, wines, and spirits. The route leads between Alpjochbahn, Muttekopfhütte, Latschenhütte, and Untermarkter Alm, offering impressive views of the surrounding mountain landscape along the way.
With the Schmankerlpass for 39 euros, visitors can sample the culinary offerings along the route. At the start at the Alpjochbahn, a delightful breakfast awaits, while specialties such as beef tartare, pulled pork, dumplings, Kaiserschmarren, classic hut dishes, and regional wines ensure culinary diversity during the hike. To conclude, the gourmet hike will end at Untermarkter Alm with special dishes and musical entertainment.
