The Fasnachteingraben in Nassereith is a traditional custom that marks the end of the Fasnacht on Shrove Tuesday. During this event, Fasnacht, often symbolically represented by a "Ruaßler," is buried in a sort of funeral procession. The mourners, many with black cloths, walk through the village to mourn the Fasnacht, which is then "buried" for four years until the next Fasnacht.
