Free Crib in Imsterberg

With the 1st Advent Sunday on November 30, 2025, the Imsterberg Free Crib can be admired. It is located on the village square opposite the community center (Ried 5) in front of the Gasthaus Venetrast. The main figures made of Swiss stone pine, measuring over one meter, adorn the crib and will be presented in three changing scenes (searching for accommodation, birth of Jesus, and adoration of the Three Wise Men) in the winter crib in Tyrolean style until Candlemas on February 2, 2026. The figures were created by a young wood sculptor, Manuel Egger-Budemair, from Prägraten. The crib itself was built under the direction and background painting of Peter Riml from Wenns by crib enthusiasts from Imsterberg.
