Christian Bumeder has set himself a goal: After 18 years on cabaret stages and four solo programs, the former “Bumillo” now performs under his real name and takes his personal master exam with Meister Bumeder. Effortlessly, he bridges the gap between stand-up comedy, acrobatic songs and pointed everyday observations, from the private to the political, from family life to global events, and from red garden tomatoes to the big questions of our time.

Bumeder is a cabaret artist with bite, but without malice. His stories are sharply observed, his punchlines hit the mark, and his stage presence is captivating. Social criticism, pop culture, and personal anecdotes merge into an evening full of energy, love of language, and optimism.
