Bluatschink: Do you speak Deitsch?

Songs, bursts of laughter, and Lechtal linguistic acrobatics – when Bluatschink is "in town," the rafters of the Stadtbühne (city stage) shake. An evening full of dialect, Denglisch (German for "Denglisch"), logical errors, and musical squabbles.

For over 30 years, Bluatschink has stood for charming musical cabaret with depth, wordplay, and a distinctive Lechtal accent. In their new program, "Do You Speak Deitsch?", Margit and Toni Knittel devote themselves entirely to the topic of language – from medieval grammar to the modern dialect explosion. They not only sing, but also joke, play, and philosophize between the songs – often longer than the song itself.

Whether it's classics from the dialect mothball box or new linguistic delicacies: Bluatschink not only sparks fly, but also punchlines. And the newly prepared delicacies from the Lechtaler Sprachspiel kitchen can be enjoyed without any prior knowledge of Lechtal dialect.
