28th Guinness IRISH CHRISTMAS

Ireland visits Imst: With Altan and Buíoch, two outstanding generations of Irish folk musicians take to the stage, representing the depth, vibrancy, and global magic of traditional Irish music. In cooperation with Weltenklang and the Art Club Imst.

Opening the evening is Buíoch – a young band from County Laois in the heart of the Emerald Isle, who delight with original compositions, fresh arrangements, and genuine joy. Founded during the pandemic and named after the Irish word for "gratitude," the quartet combines handcrafted tradition with a powerful contemporary feel. Their music is raw, direct, and warm-hearted – and a tribute to what defines Irish song: togetherness, expression, and joie de vivre.
