Once again this year, we are part of the initiative “10 Hours Charity Climbing” in cooperation with the ClimbingZoo association. The focus is on athletic challenges, team spirit, and the shared motivation to achieve something good through climbing.
This year we do not have a specific beneficiary. Nevertheless, it is very important for us to support the initiative and, together with all participating gyms, to raise as much donation money as possible.
The PrincipleA climbing team consists of two people.
From 09:00 to 19:00 the goal is: climb, persevere, collect points!
All routes climbed in lead climbing on-sight will be counted – meaning without falling and without loading the rope.
Points are awarded based on the French difficulty scale:
4 – 5c+ → 1 point
6a – 6b+ → 2 points
6c – 7a → 3 points
7a+ – 7b+ → 4 points
7c / 7c+ → 5 points
8a / 8a+ → 7 points
8b / 8b+ → 10 points
from 8c → 15 points
The harder the route, the more points you earn – endurance and strategy are required!
SponsorsEach climbing team independently seeks one or more sponsors.
These sponsors commit to donating 2 euros per climbed point.
Whether a company, club, or individual – every contribution counts and supports the good cause of the overall initiative.
Registration & OrganizationRegistration is done through ClimbingZoo's homepage.
After the 10 hours, teams will enter their points online themselves. This will create the official ranking list.
