The Seewald Inn is quietly located directly on the edge of the forest of Strad, a hamlet of the municipality of Tarrenz. The Donnemiller family has been running the inn for many decades. Thomas Donnemiller took over the inn in Strad from his parents and continues to run it today with his family. The next generation is already actively supporting him.
16 rooms are available in the beautiful location winter and summer. Book your relaxing vacation in the Merano of the North, as the Gurgltal is also called due to its low rainfall. The Gasthof Seewald offers you a restaurant with dining room, a cozy parlor, taproom, guest parking, table tennis, table soccer and storage space for bicycles.
Use our inn directly on Europe's cultural axis, the Via Claudia Augusta for a biker stop. Our family business thus offers bikers and hikers the ideal opportunity for a break in our shady guest garden or an overnight stay. In our rustic furnished dining room we offer the perfect refreshment for all bikers and hikers.
