The village of witches Tarrenz

Authentic Tyrolean farmers’ village at 836 m above sea level. Also known as the “village of witches”, with age-old farmsteads in the village centre. Population: 2,648. Steeped in history, this mining area can still be experienced today in the Knappenwelt exhibition village. The range of modern leisure activities extends from hiking, cycling, climbing, family excursions, Schloss Starkenberg (“Beer Myth”) and the local history museum.
