About 3,000 years ago vast amounts of stone broke away from the Tschirgant and forced their way to the frozen valley grounds through the Inntal valley up to Oetz. Info panels throughout the pine tree forest or a qualified guide show you why and how such a unique incident happens. You explore how pioneering flowers and animals have made the stony habitat homely, visit old kilns where limestones were burned in former days and even see caves dating back to prehistoric times.
